About the school
Woking High School has 1086 boys and girls on roll. There are roughly equal numbers of boys and girls.T here is a special needs unit based on the school site and this has places for 12 students with visual impairment.

This is a good school providing an effective education for its students.

[The school has]...good provision for students with visual impairment enabling them to make good progress.

Provision for students with visual impairment is good. They are very effectively integrated into mainstream lessons for most of the time.

Competitive sport is also provided for students with visual impairment.

In 2002, the three students with visual impairment all gained five or more GCSEs at grades A* to C.
